SEANAV 700ADE / 700700BDE Sea Marine

The SEANAV model 700ADE and 700BDE Navigation light panels are designed for use on double ended ferries. Instead of a large barrel switch to change light direction, 2 reliable relays are utilised to transfer control from one direction to the other.

The SEANAV model 700ADE is built for single light systems whereas the 700BDE is designed for double light systems. Normally, the 4 light positions transferred would be the PORT, STARBOARD, STERN & MASTHEAD lights. Other lights such as ANCHOR and NUC would be available form either direction. A panel can be built to accommodate any combination of lights that are switched for direction changes or are available in either direction. The panel can also accommodate any combination of double and single light arrangements.

The basic model 700ADE or 700BDE has a main power switch, to select either of 2 navigation light power sources, up to 7 individually supervised navigation light positions in each direction, and up to 4 navigation light positions available in either direction. There are 2 x 15 amp fuses for each navigation light power source and 2 x 5 amp fuses for each navigation light. The size for the 700ADE or 700BDE unit is 19" wide x 21" high x 4.5" deep. The picture shows a typical 700BDE with 4 light positions available in each direction and a further 3 lights available in either direction. The lower access cover is removed to show where external connections are made.
