The new Remote Control Unit ReCon DS 23 made by SCHALLER AUTOMATION represents the state-of-the-art technology for a remote control of the company's well known VISTATRON Oil Mist Detection systems.
Designed to be installed e.g. in the engine control room, the remote control unit enables viewing and logging of real-time information gathered from the connected VISATRON Oil Mist Detectors. The ReCon DS23 has the capability to monitor on line the actual relative opacity inside the engine's crankcase, to view and e.g. reset High Oil Mist Alarms, to display short and long-term information and also to record this information to log files for a later analysis.
ReCon DS23 allows the connection of max. 16 pcs. VISATRON Oil Mist Detection systems. It will be available from January 2008 for the connection of VISATRON Oil Mist Detection systems of series VN 93.
The ReCon DS23 will be classification approved by Germanischer Lloyd for closed areas, environmental category C, installation in control panels or cabinets.
