Waste incinerator for ships
600 - 2200 kW
Scanship Environmental as
The incinerator is designed with the very latest technology in multi-chamber, semi-pyrolysis with flue gas emissions within IMO MARPOL regulations. The incinerators are also capable of meeting EU regulations, which is in accordance with the future general demands for air emissions.
Burnable materials are processed in a Dry garbage shredder and collected in the Dry garbage silo. The garbage is fed by gravity to the Incinerator and burned in the fully automated computer controlled incineration process.
The feeding technology is developed to secure a homogenous combustion and low dust emission. The solution is also optimal for burning sludge from food waste and waste water.
The Scanship incinerator is also equipped with a fully integrated Sludge Oil Burning System. The system consists of a valve package and dosing pump feeding sludge oil with temperature of 60-90°C into the primary combustion chamber
The combustion in the primary chamber is pyrolysis, based on, burning with a limited supply of oxygen. The chamber has two zones for degassing and one ash-annealing zone. The primary chambers have an automatic continuous ash removal system. The ash is removed through a chute below the incinerator into a container or transported with screw to bagging equipment.
