sunFLIP systems are sun awnings designed to be stowed away if the wind increases beyond a pre-defined speed. sunFLIP systems combine optimum sun protection with easy handling, best aesthetics, and minimum weight. Typical target characteristics for our sunFLIP systems are:

· Easy handling at any time
· Attractive looks, due to high quality system components
· Stowed away, none of the system components shall be visible.

The maximum wind load for our sunFLIP awnings depend on our clients' needs. Typical values are 20 to 35 knots of apparent wind (5 to 8 Beaufort). The critical aspect is not so much the strength of the awning, but mostly the design concept, which must ensure an easy and secure stowaway at maximum wind speed condition.
