The Sabre Spirit was designed by Jim Taylor and the Sabre Design Team and was launched in the summer of 2007 to rave reviews. She is stylish and fast and a delight to sail. In the autumn of 2007 she was awarded both the Sailing World Magazine and Cruising World Magazine, Boat of the Year. Her hull is built with vaccum bagged Airex core to reduce weight and add strength. Her Hall Spar carbon mast permits the boat to be sailed in more breeze while retaining her stiffness.
