Pontoons are the main floating element in any marina designed to serve equally as a pedestrian walkway as a mooring for boats.
The main structural profile is along the same lines as that of the pontoon by which this is defined, built with a 6005 A-T6 aluminium alloy structure with an "RO2 PE" (8.45Kg/ml) structural profile, decking and perimeter fender in either high density rot-resistant tropical wood or timber-plastic composites, both with an average 25 mm thick textured slip proof high density surface, access openings both sides of the pontoon, likewise in aluminium, with a hole-punched PVC section for channelling electricity services, including elastomer joining blocks between sections
