The pontoon decking is made from a high density, highly resistant and extremely durable, rot-resistant tropical wood. The thickness of the wood depends upon the particular profile with the standard measurements being 20, 25, 30 and 35 mm. The decking also features a specially grooved non-slip surface. The timber boards are fixed to the support structure with 5 mm diameter aluminium rivets.
