Motor-boat : pontoon fishing boat
RIKU-Küffer
- 4m
13' 1"ft
The buoyancy of the PONTOON is secured by two inflatable cylinders, with a displacement of 600 kg each. The cylinders are made of highly abrasion-resistant material, and consist of four separated buoyancy tanks. The advantage of this watercraft is its large useful area and in this way also a good stability. Easy assembly and disassembly of the whole watercraft enable its trouble-free transport , and small demand on space for out-of-season storage. Dismountable construction is made of aluminium alloy supports . The platform is made of waterproof plywood with antiskid treatment, inserted into the construction.
Stainless steel handrails with panels ensure protection against fall , and also particular intimacy for romantic trips , or sun-bathe.
The drive of the watercraft, and its navigation may be secured by traction electric motor, operated by foot. The electric motor shall be fixed to the surface of the front walkway board. Such unusual operation of electric motor is very favourable for sport fishing because it is possible to operate it nearer to gravity centre of the watercraft. It is recommended to tow the watercraft by means of two ropes, or Y-shape rope tied to both tie-up elements in the front corners of the watercraft. 4 m long wooden raft rod serves as a reserve drive source.
