A spring and a deck wash pump, which are suitable also for the promotion of seawater. By its special construction this Rhine current pump is insensitive to the admixture of sand (grain size up to 6 mm), rust or other pollutants. The use of an unsolicited impeller and a most modern axial face seal make nearly completely maintenance-free this pump. The engine is appropriate for continuous operation. We suggest, with the installation, building into the sucking in line a foot or a sleeve setback valve. The pump needs to be filled by this measure only before first start-up with liquid. A refilling up when tearing the liquid column off is not necessary from there. Also air cushions in the line system do not impair the working reliability of the pump.
