The CANARIES booms are intended to counteract the spread of floating hydrocarbon pollutants, they are usable in harbour zones, in estuaries or in coastal zones close to the shore. They are particularly well-suited for use on rocky shores. Thanks to the subdivision of the 25 meter long elements, the boom is characterized by its great flexibility, which allows it to conform to the water's surface movements and to maintain its upright position when subjected to a perpendicular current.
