Cargo ship : LNG carrier Remontowa

DUTCH gas shipping specialist firm Anthony Veder has ordered its first-ever liquefied natural gas tanker.
Managing director of Anthony Veder, Jan Valkier, told Lloyd’s List the vessel will be built by Polish shipyard Remontowa S.A. under an owner-supplier basis.
Mr Valkier said that the 7,500 cu m ship is unique because it will be able to transport other gases as well, including liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and petrochemical gases.
The LNG will be transported at minus 163 degrees centigrade and the ship will mainly be deployed for regional distribution.
