A VHF transceiver is the most reliable and less expensive mean of communication on a boat. Easy to use, connected to a GPS antenna, a simple push on the "Distress" button will diffuse automatically the identity of the boat, its position and the nature of the danger (GPS connection needed)

At a reasonable cost, the RO4800 regroup all is needed for the leisure market. Simplified in use with its back lighted large display and alphanumeric keyboard, the 17 keys of the keypad will allow to dial digits as easily as on a cell phone.
