With its 55 INT channels and its ATIS system, the RO470 VHF possesses as well the DSC (Distress Selected Communication) as standard.
A single push of the "Distress" button, broadcast instantly a distress call, with the boat identity, its position and the nature of the danger. All acknowledgements of receipts coming near vessels or from land, are displayed on the back lit LCD display. The RO4700 VHF allows free of charge communications with one or several boats. By memorising MMSI numbers of buddies, to whom you can send messages, of which channel you want to converse. Only your exclusive selection will receive the message.
