EPSI® R&M Marine Products

The floating floor EPSI® developed by R&M with fire classification A-60 satisfies the most stringent fire insulation requirements and, as such, can be used anywhere on the ship. Unlike traditional concrete fire insulation systems, the EPSI® floor has a very quick cure time of just approx. 24 hours and a quick laying time of 2 – 4 m²/h. In addition, tests have confirmed the system’s very good soundproofing properties. Further highlights are its resistance to moisture and the fact that expansion joints are not necessary during assembly. Depending on requirements, the EPSI® floor is available in thicknesses ranging between 60 mm and 120 mm.

The design of the EPSI® floor panel and all components used have been tested and approved according to international standards.
