"With a QL water heater you really have a more comfortable life on board. A QL water heater quickly and easily provides enough water at the right temperature for a shower, washing up, shaving etc. The water in a QL water heater is heated by the energy released from the engine cooling system. Use is thus made of the heat that would otherwise go to waste. The water heater also has an immersion heater for connection to on-shore po-wer. An adjustable thermostat cuts off heating at the desired temperature. It has a heater cut-out to prevent boiling.

The water heater is available in 20, 30, 40 and 60 L (5-16 gallons) sizes. The tank is made completely in acid resistant stainless steel, which makes it very suit-able for the marine environment. The 1.5 mm thickness and TIG welded joints make the tank very strong and give in-creased corrosion protection. The design and materials also meet the highest sani-tary requirements.

The QL water heater is easily mounted, vertically or horizontally, with stainless steel brackets. To obtain maximum ef-fect the outlet is uppermost, whether installed vertically or horizontally. As an optional extra, a thermostatic mixer is available which reduces hot water con-sumption and protects against scalding."
