Blue blood because it is the child of the queen …. The G 46’ Pininfarina, in fact, was born on the wake of the much admired, lucky and acclaimed G 70’. Studied in co-operation with Pininfarina’s Extra Style Centre, this new yacht is the natural heir of the Primatist G 70’ Pininfarina, as it exploits the latter’s concept in terms of style and materials.
From bow to stern the shapes are sinuous whereas in some parts of the cockpit and at the back of the Aero Top the lines are clear-cut, thus imparting this new boat a distinct character of coupé of the sea, similar to that of the G 70’.
The resulting express cruiser is 14.10 metres long and 4.50 metres wide and features well-balanced lines, space and safety. The first impression is pleasing and the yacht exudes a familiar charm, similar to that of a very beautiful, yet not elusive creature. The sundeck at the bow can be reached via a deep walk around (a characteristic of the G70’), whereas the dinette living space is very functional thanks to the insertion of sun loungers which, by means of the already much appreciated Aero Top Evolution, can be transformed to suit the ‘living’ area.
This hard top guarantees added safety and the possibility of sailing without turbulence even in less than perfect weather conditions. The interiors can, as usual, be personalised, according to the different requirements of the shipowner. The standard model features three large cabins, two bathrooms and a wide kitchen-dinette area.
The boat is powered by two 430 hp Volvo Penta engines which use the latest Entrodrive IPS (Inboard Performance System) driving system.
