Premec sandwich units are made up with sandwich walls of steel sheet and mineral wool and a bottom tray of steel or aluminium. The main advantage with this type of unit is the degree if prefabrication. Both interior and exterior wall surfaces can be ready made so no extra lining panels have to be installed on the exterior side onboard. This design results in saved weight and less man hours at the installation site.

All installations e.g. piping, plumbing, HVAC, wireing and audio are prepared for an external hook up at the shaft wall. All systems are tested and certified at the works before delivery. Basically, the entire unit can be kept locked during the entire installation period and just checked before the final delivery. This means less, or none, damages during the building period.

The interior wall surface is pvc coated, galvanized steel sheet that is easy to clean, maintenence free and waterproof. Floor covering can be ceramic tiles, corner welded pvc flooring or paint based top coating.
