PlyGuard Phon is the brand of sound-insulation fire-retardant plywood panels. It is a low flammable material, preventing spread of fire on the surface, having a medium smoke-generating capacity and securing a moderate emission of hazardous substance into the air when burning. Phenol-formaldehyde adhesive guarantees excellent bonding properties and high water resistance. All layers of birch veneer, used for the panel production are impregnated with flame retardant. Alongside with high-quality plywood, the structure of the panel also includes sound absorbing barrier, that can be chosen by the customer according to his needs: cork makes the boards lighter in comparison with standard plywood, while a special layer of technical rubber provides better damping of vibration and protection against noise. PlyGuard Phon has the Certificate from Russian River Register of shipping. The material is also compliant with HL3 of Requirement R10 of EN 45545-2, which proves the highest level of fire safety of the panel. Variety of overlays guarantees multi-purpose use of the panel.
