Our complète chain range is galvanised as perEN ISO 1461 standard, which requires a minimum 58 micron galvanisation thickriess. Our chain goes through regular testing in accelerated seawater environment to guarantee a regular galvanisation qualiîy. A spécifie engineering process provides a better hold of trie galvanisation on The métal, to ensure a longer lifetime. Hot dip galvanisation is engineered with zinc.There may be cases where a marina would be unusually exposed to galvanic currents which could generate a chain détérioration. In such cases, we recommend to use mooring anodes (réf. 38266 & 38267), which will protect both the chain and the metallic parts of the boat.
