The XBO®series includes universal searchlights of the super class, that turn night into day with a light colour like daylight and extreme ranges. These searchlights are very adequate for all types of ships needing maximum lighting. Available from 150 to 7000 Watt. No warm-up phase. No compass impairment as of 1.5 m, power supply as of 2 m. Thermostatically controlled heating is standard.

SEEMATZ Searchlight heads are made of seawater resistant aluminium and equipped with extra-hardened safety glass panes. The standard reflectors are made of high-gloss aluminium; a glass reflector is available upon inquiry. Due to the fast locks mounted on the back of the searchlights, service work is easily possible also during bad weather. The protection class IP56 is fulfilled.

Range according to DIN is a measured range according to the specifications of the German Institute for Standardization (e.V.)
Range according to IES corresponds to the calculated range according to the specifications of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. This is the range specification common on the market, as it states larger values. This is because the specifications of the IES do not consider loss through mirrors, front window, or haze.
