The company URAG GmbH placed at PEENE-WERFT Wolgast the order for the construction and delivery of 2 sea and harbour assistance tugs with VSP-propeller.

The tug-boats were built in compliance with the rules and under the supervision of the Germanischer Lloyd and have got the class notation.

GL 100 A5 E "TUG" + MC E AUT.

The wheel house offers excellent visibility conditions and is fitted with all equipment needed for an automatic operation of the engines and the deckwinches.

The towing equipment contains a 2-drum winch, type "Waterfall", made by Norwinch (no-minal pull 200 kN, brake holding power 820 kN), a towing hook (pull 200 kN, SWL) and a towing post.

The propulsion system consists of two main engines, type MaK 8 M332C, with an output of max.1,450 kW each and two VSP-propellers of the size 28 GII/185.
