The True North 34 is a single-engine express with a skeg-protected propeller, the approach lobstermen have relied on for decades for efficiency, avoiding pot lines, and surviving groundings. The readily accessible roof of the pilothouse is a convenient place for canoes or kayaks, and additional stowage space runs beneath the pilothouse floor.
