This buoy contains a 20-metre polyesther ribbon rolled up on a self-winding roll. The ribbon is to be fastened to the anchor crown by means of a shackle and is released little by little when at anchor. This avoids other boats from superimposing their moorings. Moreover, in case the anchor runs aground, it is possible to refloat it by pulling the ribbon whose breaking load is of 290 kg.
