FL001 demonstrates broad-spectrum activity against micro-organisms, especially in hydrocarbons storage :
- Bacteria's (such pseudomonas aeruginosa) with gram negative tendency.
- Yeasts (candida lipolytica)
- Moulds (hormonis resinae)
- Sulphate-reducer bacterias's
All responsible of storage tanks, pipes, pumps, filters, supplying systems, motors corrosion ... etc
FL001, biocide effect, has a trip result :
- Avoids bacteria's formation, corrosion scale that block up filters.
- Prevents combustion additives destruction.
- Reduces water in fuel during storage.
FL001 has a dual preventive and remedial action. Its action reduces the risks of micro-organisms multiplying in the fuel at the water and fuel's interface.
During the sailing period and the storage, FL001 produces:
- Internal cleanliness of tanks.
- An effective fight against mud, slime and corrosive by-products forming.
- A reduction in the risk of surfaces and equipment breaking down or deteriorating.
FL001 is non-flammable.
FL001 is used as follows:
FL001 is added when tanks are filling.
Preventive treatment: 2 X 50 ml to 3 X 50 ml for 1000 Litres of fuel.
Curative treatment: 3 X 50 ml to 6 X 50 ml for 1000 Litres of fuel.
