The oil boom 250 WDF can be winded and driven on all customary oil boom
winders.
The collapsible version of the solid oil boom 250 F can be packed in carrier
bags and lorried on oil boom transport trailers. It is recommended for operations
on smaller rivers (20 - 30 m breadth).
The oil boom 250 WDF gets its buoyancy and dimensional stability by means
of resistant floats of plastic and flexible levelling pieces. The water proof and
oil resistant outer skin consists of a plastic coated carrier fabric which provides
high tensile strength. Oil and water-proof valves guarantee an optimal ventilation
and aspiration.
Welded carrier handles facilitate the transport by hand and the setting into the
water and allow the connection of further equipment (buoys, Mopmatic-rolls).
