The Open C 52 is an ocean going sailboat. It is also a home, with comfortable accommodations for onboard family life, or for charter, where each guest will have some privacy. Can be sailed short handed.The design is under development with Jean-François André, starting from an existing and proven hull, adapted to the specifc objectives: a safe, comfortable and performance sailing, from the Equator to the Poles. Accommodations will be designed with an interior designer. After developing Damien IV with Gérard Janichon, Jean-François André designed about 30 boats, all in aluminum or steel, and cumulated more than 160 000 miles of sailing in all latitudes..
