Design

The Odeo Flare™ uses laser technology to achieve the same distinctive visibility of a red hand flare but without the dangers of the heat, flames and explosive compounds of the pyrotechnic flare. From the ground up, each element has been designed as a modern alternative, taking into account safety, practicality and energy consumption.

At the heart of the Odeo Flare is the Quad Head. Using four Lasers instead of one, the Quad Head not only gives greater power and visibility, but also built-in redundancy: if one or more Lasers fail, the flare will continue to work just as safely and effectively but slightly less efficiently.

The Odeo Flare’s Control Circuits have been created specifically for optimum performance and efficiency, providing power for the Quad Head, Beam Focus Assembly and Drive Control Assembly whilst giving the flare its extraordinary battery life and reliability.
