The vessel is designed as a single screw motor tanker with transom stern, bulbous bow and semi spade rudder. The entire cargo section of the vessel is constructed with double bottom and sides. Cargo is carried in 5 center tanks, and in 5 x 2 side tanks plus 2 slop tanks. Segregated ballast is carried in forepeak, 4 x 2 double hull tanks and one double hull U-tank in cargo area, and wing tanks in engine room section.
The vessel is designed as a segregated ballast tanker complying with the requirements of the IMO Regulations for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (Marpol Reg. 13F), and the US Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA 90) for double hull construction. Navigation bridge layout and equipment for one man operation.
