Membrane keyboards (KBM series) :
- 5-layer membranes
- Relatively long travel of 1,4 mm with distinctive tactile click
- The higher pressure force (typ 4N) limits the data entry speed
(not always a disadvantage for industrial applications)
- Overall sealing up to IP65 static (opto-mechanical trackball)
- Robust, field prooven technology

Short travel keyboards (KST series) :
- Individual short travel switches mounted on a rigid PC board
- Short travel of 0,3 mm with tactile feel
- Lower pressure force (typ 2.5N) allowing a higher speed of data entry
- Overall sealing up to IP67 (panel mount versions)
- Lower set up charges and lead times for new country versions
as only the front foil needs to be changed
