The new Southerly 35 RS with raised saloon sealing has been designed with the best possible sailing characteristics for a fast exhilarating sail , with safety and comfort a priority, and simplified handling to minimise effort. Designed by Humphreys Design & Northshore Design Office.

The new Southerly 35RS boats an impressive sail plan;the fractional rig combines a self tacking furling jib and a large powerful mainsail with single line reefing. This ensures the yacht can be easily sailed by two people. For lighter airs, an optional gennaker ca be flown fom a short, removable bowsprit. The min track sheet is positioned accross the cockpit, within easy reach of the helmsman (this can be positioned on the coach roof as an option).
