The outrigger kayak Maakandu is rigged with a Dhow sail. In the event of a lateral to following wind you may now simply make a pause to recover your breath and let the wind work for you. The sail can be set and taken in without problem with a handgrip from the cockpit. If you cruise against the wind, the sail will be furled quickly and placed on the arms of the outrigger and paddling will be continued. Previous knowledge of sailing is not necessary. I would be glad to explain the few handgrips to you. All parts fit altogether on a boat trolley and can thus be easily transported. For the assembly no tools are required for you. Assembly time: about 15-20 minutes. Of course, the kayak can also be used without rig and outrigger.
