The African Mahogany in its different varieties Khaya Ivorensis, Sapelli, Sipo, grants a very good ratio between weight/mechanical characteristics and humidity resistance: for this important feature it is ideal for the use in boat building from the hulls to the superstructures, and to meet both structural and aesthetical needs.
The phenol and melamine glue lines used in the production are both boiling water resistant, then ideal for external uses, in accordance with EN 314 Class 3 and the international standards BS 1088 - DIN AW 100 / A 100.
The thickness ranges from 3 mm to 30 mm.
