The wood Poplar (Populus Tremula), of white colour, is light, soft and with a low compressive strength. Very easy to work, ideal for many uses, especially for plywood.
It is produced with both urea formaldehyde (for interior use) and with melamine (for exterior use) glue lines bearing in mind that due to its low durability for exterior purposes the plywood has to be dealt with proper preservative treatment.
