The new HR anemovane sensor is ever more accurate: better than a degree in angle measurement and around 1% for speed measurement linearity. It provides wind angle measurement over 360° and starts at speeds less than 2 knots. With easy installation and removal at the head of mast, it provides a corrected angle with a memorised value of the vane's mechanical shift (which usually results from an installation at the head of mast). This correction is essential to correctly display apparent wind angle and true wind direction. This sensor is also available in a Carbowind version.
