- As a fire extinguishing agent, CO2 is non-corrosive and causes no chemical reaction on metals, electrical insulations and oil, nor an mechanical damage to applied surfaces. CO2 does not deteriorate with age and can therefore be stored for an indefinite time.
- CO2 leaves no residue to be cleaned up after extinguishment of fire. Therefore the equipment that has not been damaged by fire can be re-used at once.
