Storm 16 T (tourist) is a fast but safe small tourist catamaran of Czech production. It is designed to provide pleasure from fast sailing even in
a weak wind, but also adrenaline feeling in a stronger wind. Due to its construction, it is, however, more
stable than other ships in this category; it is rather a ship intended for the broad public.
You can safely sail in it with your children; however, if you use the gennaker, you will experience a real feeling of fast sailing. The tourist version with
a rigid plate between the hulls provides comfort to the crew and "dry"
sailing even in worse weather conditions.
For improving sailing properties and also for the possibility of landing
on a beach, the ship is provided with dagerboards. The catamaran is safe and even if it capsizes, its unsinkability is ensured by six separated compartments.
Because the Storm 16 T catamaran is a tourist ship version, you will also
find enough stowage space in the hulls, where you can easily store sleeping bags, a tent, camping facilities and provision of food.
