Free fall davits are designed for launching lifeboats fully loaded, in any trim and list conditions stated by SOLAS, using only gravity force. Free fall davits are operated by two hydraulic cylinders to release the boats. For recovering, one hydraulic winch and one gantry crane are foreseen.
