It was designed and built by very skitted men called "maestri d'ascia". This boat has mantained the same classic design of the Ligurian Gozzo. Even though it is plastic reinforced by incorporated fiberglass made and well-finished with precious wood, it is in no way inferior to old Gozzo (it weights 1600 kilos) both in seaholding and in its easily control. In other words it is very good in a professional and also in an amateurish fishing. We can notice that, besides two berths by the bows and one W.C., we have also a place for fishing, equipped with a wide cockpit for trolling and for boultered fishing. It was designed to make maximum use of the place. It is plastic reinforced by incorporated riberglass and precious wood made. This boat is completely self-emptying.
