RACINE, Wis.–MinnKota® introduces a new line of Engine Mount electric motors that provides freshwater anglers a new alternative for boat rigging, and a new tool for boat positioning.

These electric trolling motors mount on the cavitation plate of an outboard or stern drive lower unit. When the boat is on plane, the Engine Mount rides completely out of the water so it will not affect the normal performance of the boat or engine.

Minn Kota Engine Mount motors come in a power range from 25-99 kgs of thrust and are ideal for boats from 4.2-7.9 meters in length. The composite mounting bracket is designed for optimal strength and corrosion resistance, and is available in single or dual motor configurations.

The remote switch for the Engine Mount motors provides a full variable speed range in forward or reverse, and can be mounted on the helm or used handheld.

Depending on thrust size, the Minn Kota freshwater Engine Mount models run on a 12, 24 or 36 volt systems. All models come with the patented Weedless Wedge™ 2 prop, Maximizer™ technology (provides up to 5 times more battery run time).
