Shore electric plug
LOCKABLE
Microcustom
However if you fall into this category, there are a number of very practical solutions you might consider.
The easiest and least time-consuming is to fit a non-standard socket on the pontoon outlet and a corresponding non-standard plug on the input side of METERMAID. Although we know boating folk to be extremely resourceful, this approach tends to stop them in their tracks long enough for the inclination to outwit the system to go away!
Other options include physically locking off the electricity supply with either a stainless steel socket lock or a lockable plug and socket as pictured above. With the aid of a simple padlock this system allows METERMAID to be locked in place to avoid unauthorised removal. Additionally, the socket outlet can be locked off when not in use to prevent unauthorised access to the electricity supply.
