Boat solar panel CIS

CIS Panels provide excellent performance in low light conditions. This makes them ideal for use in northern latitudes and the British Isles. Even though the watt/area ratio is lower than monocrystalline panels, they will provide 20% higher output on a cloudy day. Because each "cell" is a single strip which runs the entire length of the panel, severe shading will not affect the output. CIS panels use the same high quality materials as our mono-crystalline range. The front panel is a polycarbonate material that is designed to resist hail and impacts. The outer frame is heavy duty anodized aluminium and dissipates excessive heat. Each panel has been tested and TuV approved for installations for wind speeds of up to 225km/h (140 mph) and carries an unrivalled 20 year factory warranty (note that the warranty is less for CIS panels as the cells degrade slightly faster than conventional mono-crystalline cells). These panels can be mounted using our frame mount or spoiler mount systems. Options are available for those who wish to mount the panels directly to overhead gantries.
