The 2008 Melges A Scow is a total racing machine. In no other one-design sailboat will you feel the power and thunder of an A Scow! You have to get on one to totally feel the experience - it is like no other! It is amazing to think that the A scow is the oldest one-design sailing fleet in North America. The trophies we race for date all the way back to the late 1800's. They are some of the oldest trophies in sports.

The 2008 Melges A Scow uses:

- Carbon fiber mast, boom and bow sprit.
- The exclusive Melges B-Vang.
- E glass, S glass used in the laminate.
- Foil Rudders, aluminum tillers, carbon tiller extensions.
- Tapered halyards and spinnaker sheets.
