- 15.42m 50' 7"ft The MD51 Power is a motorboat that capitalises on Maxi Dolphin's experience with sailing boats, the use of innovative materials such as Kevlar and carbon fibre, the application of modern technologies and the choice of a refined, elegant but at the same time essential design. A modern mega-tender yet of retro inspiration. Shapes, based on 1930's style, create a chic contrast with today's high-tech materials: the entire boat is in fact made of composite materials using SPRINT technology: pre-preg carbon fibre and fibreglass, cured at 84°C, under vacuum.
The engines are masterpieces of technology: the MD 51 Power has two 435-HP Volvo Penta IPS 600 engines and mounts specially-positioned propellers to give high performance at top speeds as well as reduced fuel consumption. A Volvo Penta joystick system allows full control when manoeuvring in any direction.
