The Ultra models are designed for larger, more spacious sailing boats and motor yachts. They have a heavier three- or four-cylinder diesel engine that powers an alternator with two coils and four poles. This low speed means the Whisper Ultra is both very quiet and, due to reduced wear, requires even less maintenance compared to the high revolution models.
The 6 Ultra, the smallest generator of the Ultra series delivers nothing less than 5.7 kW and permits 2-plate cooking, the use of a medium-energy water maker, washing & drying etc. At the same time your batteries are being charged quickly, allowing you to switch back to silent inverter power for the remainder of the day. Extensive monitoring and single-touch operating is easy because of the Digital Diesel Control (DDC) panel (even automatic start/stop on low battery capacity voltage and interval). Overall it is a model perfectly suited for medium to large boats fitted with a 230V electrical system. It is the power to be independent!
