Designed by Mario Barsanti, a famous boat-builder wìth long experience as a lìfeguard on the coast of Versilia, where strong north-westerly or south-westerly winds frequently rage the sea. The "Viareggio Rescue" life-saving boat was developed for use in conditions like these, so immediate help can be brought to bathers in difficulty. The boat has launching wheels built into the twìin hulls, making it easy to leave the shore. Standard fìttings include 2 life-belts, 30 metres of floating lifeline, a boat-hook and a Bay-watch-type of saving device. Constructed in fibreglass with stainless steel crosspieces. Brass rowlock and rowlock support with bayonet attachment enabling the oar to be rapidly secured or released. Maximum load: 300 kg - Buoyancy resin.
