Membrane waste water treatment system for ships MARTIN Systems
siClaro® BMA®
The siClaro® BMA® process - the future-oriented technology to treat wastewater produced on board.
The use of the siClaro® filter in separate filter chambers allows the retrofitting of existing wastewater cells with a biological sewage treatment stage.
The modular filter chambers normally allow the system to be retrofitted without having to open the ship%u2019s hull.
The siClaro® filter can, of course, be fitted directly in a wastewater cell too. The minimum cell height is then approx. 1.50 m. The membrane system has been homologated by the %u201CSee-Berufsgenossenschaft%u201D. (German Maritime Employer's Liability Insurance Association)
Homologation certificate IMO %u2013 Resolution MEPC.2 (VI); Approval of ship chandlery pursuant to Directive 96/98/ EC of the Commission on Ship Chandlery.
On terms of purification efficiency, siClaro® BMA® wastewater systems safely comply with the stricter effluent figures of the %u201CAlaska Legislation on treated sewage and grey water discharge%u201D from December 2000.
