Marström spars are used all over the world ranging from the Europe dinghy to the latest Americas Cup designs. We make all spars in a female mould using carbon prepreg. The spars are autoclaved in 125 degrees and at 6 bars pressure.
We produced our first carbon spar in 1985. Since then more than 4500 spars have left our factory. Our engineers and salesmen will guide the customer right through the project. We have a deep knowledge in load calculations as well as in designing custom fittings.
Our latest projects includes the mast for the Italian AC Yacht +39. Estrella Damm and Safran are two IMOCA projects that use Marstrom Spars for the Vendee Globe and the Barcelona World Race.
