The Marinetek Aluminium pontoon is easy to handle and simple to install. The pontoon is designed for general-purpose use and can be constructed to exact customer requirements in terms of length.
The elements have unique plastic floats with stabilisation wings making them very stable despite their light weight. The pontoon frames are manufactured from strong aluminium profile and the elements are connected by flexible rubber bolt joints, cornerwise or sideways if required. The deck of the pontoon element is either profiled and treated Finnish pine or hardwood. Pontoon elements come with wooden fenders and no. 8 flip-up cleats.
The UIM Class 1 World Powerboat Championship has selected Marinetek as its Official Supplier. Marinetek Aluminium pontoons are used in the wet pit area in the Class 1 GP events.
