Warping head made of cast steel or quality cast-iron. Execution in accordance with UNAV rules. Smooth or spline profile with cast staves. On request inserted bronze staves can be supplied. Top closin cover. Tubular basement made of electrowelved roller steel, provided with sturdy reinforcing square pieces. Base ring provided with bolts for anchoring to the ground or to the ship structur.

The basement encloses the double spur gear reduction made of high-tensile steel milled from a block. Planetary slew internal teeth type, mounted on roller bearings. Main reduction gear single stage type. Spur gears made of hyigh-tensile steel, milled from a block. Casing made of high-quality iron. Oil bath lubrication.

Motorization on request by electric motor. Electric motor: three phase motor with dinamically balanced armature, waterproof bearings, selflubricating. The motor is of the selfbraking type, with electromagnetic disk brake. Protection IP 55. Vertical installation with motor inside the warping-head. The electric motor version is provided on request with a control panel. A push-button panel or control pedals can be supplied on request. SA 2,5 sandblasting. Epoxy painting for marine salty-climate. Flameproof electric motorization can be supplied on request. Double speed can be supplied on request.
