The Safety Management System is the first automated response provided through the study and planning of software that is integrated with the control system to allow the display on a monitor of all the steps the user needs to follow in the case of serious problems on board relative to the vessel's dedicated systems, fire, loss of rudder control, flooding of the bilges, man overboard. With reference to the fire-fighting system, Marine Automation has been collaborating for approximately a year with the Autronica firm, (worldwide Leader in the field of on-board fire-fighting systems) to develop and use special dedicated management software for on-board safety control.
